The Heart of Nebraska Events

Formerly known as GILCA, GI Expo Events & Livestock brings together nationally recognized livestock shows, community events, concerts, conferences, and large-scale gatherings on the iconic Fonner Park campus in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Who We Are

GI Expo Events & Livestock is a premier event venue and livestock complex located on the historic Fonner Park campus in Grand Island, Nebraska. Positioned in the heart of the state near Interstate 80, the campus serves as a central destination for livestock shows, trade shows, concerts, conferences, weddings, and community events throughout Nebraska and the Midwest.

Formerly known as the Grand Island Livestock Complex Authority (GILCA), GI Expo represents a forward-looking vision that expands beyond agriculture while continuing to support Nebraska’s deep livestock and agricultural roots. In partnership with Fonner Park and alongside the Nebraska State Fair, the campus brings together entertainment, agriculture, and community experiences on one versatile multi-building property.

A defining moment for the campus came in 2017 with the relocation of the AKSARBEN Stock Show to Grand Island, helping establish GI Expo as a destination for national-level livestock events. Today, the campus continues to grow as one of central Nebraska’s most flexible venues for events of all sizes.
